Nikki Davis

Nikki Davis - Senior Presenter.

Bachelor of Arts (Communications)

“I get the most amazing reaction from people when I tell them about Enlighten and what we do. I believe that many people – both genders, all ages and walks of life – are becoming more and more aware of the need for the work Enlighten does with today’s girls. I have never been more proud to talk about my work and the fact that I get to remind all these gorgeous girls just how special they are.”

A trained dancer and former dance teacher, Nikki spent a number of years performing as a dancer and modelling professionally after completing her Communications degree. Her passion for writing led to a position as the editor of a magazine for young dancers, and a scriptwriting role with a production company followed. Then she moved into a producer role, working on the creation of videos and special events, and often appearing on camera as host.

Training to be a volunteer telephone counsellor with Lifeline gave Nikki the opportunity to explore her interest in counselling and psychotherapy, which she continues to study. It quickly became clear to Nikki during her time at Lifeline that she was particularly interested in social issues related to girls and women.

A former high school student of Enlighten’s CEO, Dannielle Miller, Nikki wanted to be involved the moment she saw the work Enlighten was doing in the community. Experienced in front of a crowd, with lots of stories to tell and a special interest in young women, Nikki has a proven rapport with school-aged girls and offers a unique insight into the worlds of fashion, entertainment and the arts.

Becca Johnston

Becca Johnston - Senior Presenter.

Bachelor of Arts (Drama Studies), Edith Cowan University; Bachelor of Arts (Acting), National Institute of Dramatic Art

“Inspiring and empowering young women is one of my missions in life. As a presenter, it’s always the ‘reluctant customers’ that I’m aiming for. The quiet girls, the rowdy girls, the girls who challenge me to win them over. The girls who are terrified of being pushed outside of their comfort zones, afraid of making a mistake or getting it wrong in front of an audience. Well, in my reality, there are no mistakes. There are no ‘wrong’ choices. And that’s why I love this job. Encouraging young women to be brave – to be fearless. Watching them celebrate each other and leave our workshops full of adrenaline, inspired and empowered because they were brave enough to jump in feet first and give the experience a go. Being a part of the Enlighten team is a blast!”

Becca has worked with young women and girls from all walks of life in a mentoring or teaching capacity since she was 16 years old. From coaching girls’ netball clinics as a player in the Western Australian state league to leading an all-girls scholarship summer camp in California, facilitating acting training at independent and government schools across Australia, travelling to Northern Australia to mentor young indigenous women, sharing her childhood and her life with the two most amazing sisters a girl could want – she is incredibly passionate about empowering young women, and building their confidence and self-esteem.

With more than 13 years’ experience across multiple industries, Becca is a highly qualified public speaker, corporate trainer, MC, teacher and mentor. She has been a regular tutor for NIDA Open Program’s Teenage and Adult courses since 2008, and has facilitated corporate training and events for companies including NIDA Corporate, Australian Cancer Council, Sydney Customs and Integracom (ADF).

As an actor, writer and producer, she has appeared in theatre, film, television, advertisements and short films. She was a cofounder of Red Rabbit Theatre Company, and is a Director and Cofounder of Provoke Performance.

Becca loves to travel – some of her most rewarding experiences as a mentor have been while on tour around Australia. As a teenager growing up in Perth, she would have jumped at the chance to get amongst the courses Enlighten offers. She relishes the opportunity to work with young people who would not necessarily have immediate access to exciting youth programs because of their isolation and distance from a major capital city.

Chloe Veljanovski

Chloe Veljanovski, Senior Presenter.

Bachelor of Creative Arts (Visual Arts), Bachelor of Arts (Media and Cultural Studies), Diploma of Education (Secondary)

“I have always been a dedicated and active feminist who is passionate about helping women grow in a society that is only beginning to accommodate their rights. I want to be a facilitator, someone who can arm young girls with the tools and knowledge that will help them navigate through and analyse the plethora of images of women to which they are exposed. I am so proud to be a part of Enlighten Education, where I can follow this dream and really make a difference.”

As a trained Visual Arts teacher and television presenter, Chloe Veljanovski has an abundance of experience in reaching and communicating with young people. Chloe has worked in the music industry for an independent record label, and as a producer and host on a music television show. These opportunities have allowed Chloe to interview a range of amazing musicians such as Timmy Trumpet, Passenger and Alison Wonderland — and to experience firsthand the culture and lifestyle of the girls she works with at Enlighten.

In her time working as a teacher, Chloe has developed programs that foster the self-esteem and wellbeing of students, particularly young women, and she has worked with indigenous students through AIME. Going beyond teaching the curriculum, she feels it is important to form meaningful bonds with students and inspire them to help others. Chloe uses her expertise in the classroom, in the visual arts and media, and as presenter to follow her passion, which is to empower young women to reach their potential.

Testimonials From Local Schools

I would have to agree that the day was a huge success thanks to you wonderful presenter, Nikki Davis. She was amazing and I mean absolutely amazing, she was able to relate extremely well to our girls (who can be very tough sometimes to break through to). I would recommend your program to any school that would like to run girl programs like we have tried to run each year. Again, it was an amazing day and I think our young ladies will take a lot out of yesterday and store it away to use whenever the need arises. I am so glad I found you, the universe sent me a wonderful gift.

An effective day that was run with great positivity and a wealth of experience. The girls thoroughly enjoyed the experience and it was a great way to commence their high school transition.

Chloe was a fabulous presenter who connected with the girls straight away. The girls loved the day and got so much out of every session.  Thank you!

Absolutely fabulous day! Our girls had an absolute ball and are still buzzing about it two weeks later! We can’t wait to have Enlighten Education back out to Molong Central School.

Chloe was a fantastic presenter and the girls could really relate to the different scenarios she presented. I have had such positive feedback from the students in my year group following this seminar. I thoroughly enjoyed the day myself too. I thought the activities that the girls took part in were very enjoyable and useful. I particularly liked the positive diary that they had to make for themselves – I thought this was a wonderful idea! Thank you for a lovely day.

I wanted to give you some feedback on our Year 9 Program today and express my thanks to Enlighten Education and especially to our fantastic facilitator today – Rebecca Johnston.

To say it was amazingly beneficial, effective and timely is an understatement. It was all that and more.

Rebecca Johnston was a dynamic, engaging and delightful facilitator who managed to pitch the sessions so perfectly to our Year 9 girls. She told them at the very beginning that even though they did not know her at all, they would be “hugging it up” at the end of the day and she was so on point because that’s exactly what happened. The girls very willingly gave up their part of their lunch break so they could rush back in to complete the friendship task from session 1.

Rebecca had the girls absolutely hanging on her every word and she is a credit to your Enlighten Education team. We would love for her to come back to Danebank again in the near future and I think she would like that too!

Year 9 were so impressed by the program and really appreciated us running it for them. I have received only positive feedback from the girls and many expressions of gratefulness for the experience. Many girls asked if they could have it again next year.

I had a quick meeting with our Deputy-Pastoral Care at the end of the day and we certainly discussed running sessions for Years 7 through to 10.

Again on behalf of my Year 9 girls, I extend my sincerest thanks for a very worthwhile program today. A very positive day with an excellent response and outcome.

As a parent and Year Advisor of the participants in this program I would like to congratulate the team from Enlighten Education. Everyone found the day a valuable and worthwhile experience. The sessions gave the girls skills to better cope in situations they may find stressful. Their confidence and self-esteem was increased dramatically. The day was very positive and will go a long way to helping girls feel “gorgeous” in their own skins, despite the media telling them differently.

Thank you.

It was obvious being in the room that the girls loved it. Their evaluations of the day were extremely positive.

Nikki is an excellent presenter in every aspect. I would like every girl in the school to complete the program.

I was expecting positive feedback from the girls but it was overwhelmingly positive which is great.

Wow, what an awesome day! I knew it was going to be good but I didn’t think it was going to be this good. Chloe was a really relatable person that the girls all felt comfortable with straight away. The content of the workshops were relevant and interesting. After reading the feedback from the girls I was so glad that we had decided to go ahead with the program.

Thank you Enlighten Education.

I was extremely happy with the workshop. Nikki was engaging and instantly connected with the girls through her story. In reading the girls feedback they really valued her openness as well as the opportunity to spend time with each other.

Fran was excellent – she built positive rapport with the girls, making them feel comfortable and creating a fun and engaging atmosphere. I was particularly impressed with the ‘personal safety’ sessions (simple, useful, memorable, relevant), There were ample opportunities for the girls to encourage and affirm their friends (which is wonderful, and something they really enjoyed)  Overall, the sessions were informative and engaging, Fran was an excellent story-teller and personable presenter and Enlighten Education have proven professional and well-equipped to start conversations on key issues faced in adolescence. Thank you Fran!

The girls enjoyed the program that was a major component of our annual Year 8 PDHPE Day. Chloe was professional and developed positive rapport with students quickly, no easy task! The workshops were informative, relevant and engaging. Christine was amazing to deal with; organised, efficient and understanding of our needs as a school. We look forward to seeing Enlighten Education at Tara again next year!

The feedback from the students was overwhelmingly positive and this is a testament to the success of the day and what they got out of it.  The content was very relevant to them and focused on key issues.  Thank you.

Today, Enlighten Education ran their KYUP workshop at Barrenjoey High School.  It was an exciting, informative and engaging session. Mel, the presenter was vivacious and passionate. Her down to earth manner left the girls enthralled in her presentation. The girls gained practical, simple and effective self-defence skills and most importantly an awareness of the importance of personal safety. This workshop is a must for all teenage girls.

Thanks Enlighten Education team for another fantastic seminar day!!! The girls loved it, and I know they left seeing themselves differently and empowered to make informed decisions about safety, friendship, and beauty. Can’t wait until next year!

Fran and Nikki were truly engaging presenters and workshop leaders. The girls immediately felt like they were in a safe and supportive environment, due to the stories Fran told them about herself as a opener. They then were engaged and open to questions, challenges and prompts that Fran asked them.

Upon splitting into groups, they were able to work successfully through The Travel Diary and meditation. Lots of girls commented on their emotional and mental state after the meditation, proving that this was an invaluable part of the day. Once back for Girl World, Fran made sure she addressed issues regarding friendship which we had asked for. This was done in a thoughtful and considerate manner, not making the girls think that we had asked to have it highlighted. Thank you again Enlighten, the girls and school community really appreciate your work.

Many thanks to Fran and Christine for being so organised and able to adapt with the changes that a school throws in during a normal day! We really appreciated all the hard work and effort that was put into the presentations and the way in which Fran spoke to the girls on their level about issues that truly concern them throughout their development. Thanks again, see you next year!

Once again, an excellent day! The Yr 9 students know very little about the program when they enter the room at the beginning of the day and it’s great to watch their response as the day progresses. Nikki develops a strong rapport with the students very quickly and they are always disappointed when it’s finished.

As usual the day was excellent the girls were fully engaged & really enjoyed all sessions. Thanks again for a wonderful day.

Nikki was amazing! It was beneficial for the girls to have someone detached from their situation coming to reassure them that everyone experiences friendship issues and that it is wrong to compare yourself to others. I think it was useful having a presenter that was young so that the girls could relate to her. She was extremely friendly and approachable and made the girls feel very special and valued. I have used her RESPECT rules and her pledge and have turned them into wall posters for our girls to refer to if another issue crops up. Our friendship problems have rapidly decreased since this workshop. THANK YOU!

When I asked the year 7 group the following week to give me feedback about the Butterfly Effect program I had such an overwhelming positive response. Body image is a big issue for adolescent girls and the program really helped the students to feel happy about themselves. Other students expressed that they now felt much more confident in knowing how to handle a situation where they felt they were being bullied. The program really related to the issues young girls have in high school. Dannielle was an engaging presenter and the students were able to really connect with her stories. Thank you for such an inspiring day.

The girls responded extremely positively to both Nikki and the information that she presented them with. They are still talking about it and it has helped them to reassess some of the important issues regarding being happy, healthy young women. Thank you.

Great to have another really well received seminar for our year 11 girls. The feedback from them speaks volumes. They were super engaged and felt reassured by the relevant messages presented by Nikki. Many thanks.

Parents have phoned the school in praise of the Pastoral Day where Francesca from Enlighten Education spoke to the Year 10 girls about staying positive, being confident in themselves and how to look after themselves when faced with a difficult situation. All girls found the day fun, informative and enjoyable. Francesca was very motivating and encouraging. Thank you

The day was responded to well by the students involved. The presenter oozed positivity and this was reflected in the girls’ involvement in the activities.

We were very impressed with the way Fran engaged with the girls, they were really inspired by the day and from the comments we have received the day exceeded their expectations. I think the staff also got a lot out of the day. The topics all seemed to be very relevant for the age and experiences of the girls. I think the school is certainly keen to have Enlighten come back!

Thank you very much for providing such an inspirational day for our girls. The girls are still talking about the day and are very motivated to continue a ‘sisterhood’ group in the school. The girls have had positive comments and some have demonstrated changes in their own thinking. You were well informed and had the girls engaged from the start. Again thank you and we look forward to seeing you next year!!

The girls seemed to respond very positively to the workshops and it was refreshing seeing them work together and get to know each other a lot more than they did before the day. I think they took a lot from the day and hope that they will continue to implement the knowledge that they gained in their everyday life. Thank you for taking the time to come out and Enlighten the girls!

I thoroughly enjoyed hearing about Dannielle’s experiences and related them so much to my own upbringing in my preteens and teenage years. Nothing has changed. But the message of choice was loud and clear. Girls at this age are grappling with their identity and acceptance within peers groups and also finding their place in the world.
The message was that you have the power, so use it in a positive way. Dannielle’s choice of language and syntax was familiar to the girls, they could relate. All thoroughly enjoyed the experience. For a whole day they heard about someone else’s plight in their younger, formative years. Dannielle was like a heroine for some of the girls. In class on occasion I still hear comments related to the day.

The event was very valuable and the students as well as myself LOVED every bit of it!!!

Excellent day, kids were totally engaged. The material was thought provoking but also very humorous. Danielle Miller has an important message for teens, but it is her humour that wins them over and helps them to explore those serious issues and still allows them to have a good laugh. Well Done!

The importance of delivering this content to our students at this age is invaluable. The comments and responses from our students highlight the need for this even more. It’s wonderful to see an organisation delivering such an important message in such a positive and effective way.

Excellent workshop, engaging and real.

Parents phoned in to say what an incredible day their daughter had experienced. Girls were effervescent in their comments about the day. Staff are delighted and all say “you must book that for next year as well”.

The girls were all a buzz after the presentation. They had a great connection with Fran, they enjoyed her stories and that really came through in their feedback. I really like the way the information is delivered on their level, they could relate and interact with the information. I think the most worthwhile activity of the day is when the girls are asked to write nice things about one another and then share. Some girls were very emotional and others heard positive things for the first time. Such an amazing experience. Other key elements that resonated with the girls were the catch phrases that give the girls new language to use on the issues of body image.

Fran’s stories to the girls illustrated that she understood the issues affecting teenage girls these days. Students related and responded well to Fran as she was very down to earth and recognised each girl as an individual. It was a very positive and uplifting afternoon!

Danni has tremendous enthusiasm and ability to connect quickly with students. The night parent talk was our most successful ever! Thanks Danni!

Thank you, once again, for providing such an empowering and relevant workshop for the girls. The way in which you engage with the students is amazing. They can see your genuine concern and respond positively to your enthusiasm. The feedback from the students is, as always, extremely positive. The lessons they have taken away from this workshop are long lasting and the students make regular reference to certain elements/phrases in the following days and weeks. I almost wish they could be receiving these messages daily in all areas of their life. Unfortunately, these messages are not always relayed at home or in the playground. Thank you for educating the girls of tomorrow and teaching them to ‘love the skin they’re in’.

The students really enjoyed the day, as always!

I just wanted to leave a small note in regards to your Career Gal Workshop. Fran was very energetic and engaging, she very quickly changed the preconceived notions of the girls, who were ‘not in the mood for a boring careers talk’. This allowed for an environment of effective participation, sharing and honesty. Whilst the discussion did not branch into a breakdown of career options, I felt that dealing with the area of ‘careers’ through topics on self-esteem, positive affirmation, discovering if you are a right brain, left brain thinker or somewhere in the middle was a very effective and relatable approach. Focusing on identifying key skills that need to be developed over the next couple of years so that they can interview well for jobs and expand their employment opportunities was also very useful. Fran covered a range of areas that are a concern for young girls, such as body image and drew relevant connections to the workforce, which was both enlightening and empowering. The message that you are not limited in your options for a career was loud and clear and laid the foundation for the girls to think very carefully about the variety of career options they have. It also helped to nip in the bud a defeatist attitude prevalent in young girls who believe they are not capable of doing certain jobs. On behalf of Year 10 Mercy I would like to pass on my thanks and gratitude to Fran for an insightful, relatable and engaging workshop.

Overall the session was fantastic. The students were engaged and took a lot away from it. I especially liked the way in which the girls felt empowered as young women at the conclusion.

Wow! I really don’t know where to start with telling you how wonderful today was. Becca was fabulous, inspirational, funny and had an incredible impact on every one of our girls. The workshops are so well designed. I loved watching the girls laugh, cry, hug, bond and walk out at the end of the day feeling truly special and empowered. Thank you!

This program provided a great opportunity for the girls at our school to take time out from the normal schedule of school life and focus on things that are really practical for them in the here and now. The students thoroughly enjoyed the day and students who would not normally involve themselves in pastoral/welfare activities were engaged for the duration of the day.

The Butterfly Effect program that our girls experienced today has an enormous emotional impact on our girls who at the end of the day felt empowered, inspired and enriched by the experience.

Becca Johnston is an outstanding presenter who presented with humour, drama and empathy – our girls responded with great enthusiasm and were thoroughly engaged in all activities throughout the day.

Becca certainly made an impression on our girls who bonded immediately with her easy going manner and her enthusiasm for girl power.

As a parent I can tell you my daughter left the school today feeling fantastic and inspired in the knowledge that yes she can do just about anything. There has been insightful discussion at our dinner table as I am sure has happened in many households in Nambucca tonight.

Thankyou to Enlighten Education for making a difference for our girls today.

Enlighten’s program is so relevant and fresh. The girls are engaged as soon as they walk in the room. Nikki was brilliant and I have taken on board some of her presentation techniques. One of my staff members was only timetabled to supervise for one period but found it so interesting she stayed for another period which was actually her free period.

In the girls’ session, Danni captivated the girls by her manner. But continued to hold their attention because she is so aware of their issues, how they talk, what’s relevant. She gave strategies in some instances that are concrete and that can be practised and worked on. In the parents’ session, both speakers provided parents with information they need to know, strategies and highlighted how important it is to be aware of the issues, to speak to one another, etc. I think that this partnership between Enlighten and Moriah is one that we need to grow. It’s a very important relationship and partnership.

Brilliant session – the girls wanted more time!

Fran was great with the girls – they seemed to find her easy to relate to and get along with. A positive experience for all involved.

The topics were relevant, current and well presented with strong links to the PDHPE curriculum. Nikki was great! The girls loved her stories, humour and the way she worked with them on their level. She presented herself professionally at all times and was very flexible with the altered timing. Christine is a delight to work with, she is always organised, quick to respond and assists as needed in all areas. A great day and we look forward to organising again for PDHPE Day next year!

I have had so many positive comments from the girls – as soon as I mention the presentation they all light up and tell me how much they want you back, some have told me that it was the best thing they have EVER done at school. Again thank you so much for your sessions Danni, they have been life changing for our girls.

I really enjoyed the content of the presentation as well as the approach taken by the presenter. The girls were really engaged and learnt a lot.

It was great timing as the girls put what they learnt into practice the very next day when they went to camp. In many cases the things they struggled with at camp involved communication issues and how to deal with conflict. I often just held up my wrist band and said something along the lines of “what is the best way to deal with this situation?”

Thank you for helping our Year 9 girls to develop vital skills for not just for their school lives, but also far beyond that.

I feel empowered, knowledgable, informed, motivated and inspired by the Butterfly Effect program… Well done Danni- you are the most engaging and eloquent speaker I have had the pleasure to experience! My little sister was in your workshop day 2 and she felt exactly the same way about it! Go the amazon Princess- you’re just gorgeous!

The workshops are a highlight for our girls. It is amazing to observe them being the best they can be when they are engaged with the workshops. Thank You! Nikki is a real pro!

This is the second year that we have run the Enlighten event. We had no hesitation in re-booking this year because the response of our students last year was so positive and long lasting. In particular, we found that the students were much more tolerant of each other. However, the feedback from the girls was the real selling point. They were overwhelmingly supportive of the program, were able to demonstrate that some really life-changing learning had taken place and completely enjoyed the experience. And who wouldn’t be moved by Danni’s story, her courage and her amazing outlook
on life? Of course, they all love her!

The program was informative and the activities were appropriate and enjoyable for the students. The life experiences shared with the girls e.g. body image, were relevant to teenagers and the emotions/feelings and outcomes were expressed positively. It was fantastic that Danni was able to include our assistant year advisor (male staff member) in a positive and fun way….Overall, a great day and the girls had an enjoyable time. Thank you.

Once again a fantastic day! Thank you so much for being committed to the cause of helping young girls find their true beauty and navigate their way through girl world. The program was engaging, fun and informative. Looking forward to working with you again next year!

Was a fabulous day, the girls learnt so much throughout the day, were engaged at all times, responded beautifully to the discussion and activities and they felt empowered and happy after the day.
Definitely worthwhile and the topics covered were spot on for our girls, Fran, you were inspiring and motivating for the girls and a wonderful role model, which showed you can be a business woman and a mother as well as be feminine and be confident in who you are.
Was wonderful to see the girls get so much out of your stories and how to respond to certain situations. It was just what the girls needed.

I found the speaker very engaging with the girls. The issues addressed were very relevant to the age of girls and I think they took some valuable information and strategies to help them through the next few years of their teenage life.

The girls had the best day (and so did Susie and myself!!) Your presenter was spot on and fully engaged our most difficult girls. My only suggestion the quieter, well behaved girls were a bit neglected because the louder ones demanded attention. We thought next time we might split the groups and have half days, but it seemed a shame to miss the good stuff. Strategies? Otherwise, thanks so much for a fun, exciting and useful day!

Hi GORGEOUS Danni

Tuesday was an absolutely amazing day for the girls (and their teachers). Thank you so very much for taking us joyfully and energetically through some ‘enlightening’ activities. We have done lots of de-briefing with the girls and the feedback is overwhelmingly positive, as I’m sure it will state on your feedback forms. When asked what they most enjoyed or what they learned from the day, I was most pleased that a range of responses were given. Not only did the girls respond to you extremely positively, they felt the the pace of the day was perfect, that the music added much joy and that the activities were fun and important.

I had to resolve a friendship issue with two girls today and we were all using the steps in the ‘Respect Rules’ to help us to sort through the issue – THANK YOU! We now have a shared language and set of standards that we can work through in future friendship issues. There are other ways in which we are continuing the work of ‘The Butterfly Effect’. We are wearing our wrist bands, many girls have downloaded the app, we have been writing in our journals and we have been discussing the content raised on Tuesday. I have heard girls saying, “Stop! I don’t like it!” and although they were playing, the phrase and stance have been embedded.

Finally, I would like to say how much I have enjoyed reading through your blog. I have watched several Kerri-Anne clips and read through several postings. You raise a lot of interesting points. As a girl and a teacher of girls, I am very interested to hear what you have to say. I have also encouraged some parents to have a read.

Thank you for being an ambassador for girls. I very much hope that I get the opportunity to work with you again in the future as I found you very inspiring!

Dear Fran
I thought your sessions inspired our students to think positively about life, their relationships and their own bodies. The girls enjoyed taking the time to write positive things about each other and each of them got a little boost which made them happier about themselves. It’s great that they can walk away from the day with a journal they can look at, to remind themselves about the positive things about them, a journal that they can also keep as a positive reminder of their happy schooling years.

Thank you so much to Nikki for a truly meaningful and engaging presentation. She brought a whole new level of connectedness to the year 11 group. For the girls to have the opportunity to think about themselves as individuals and as part of a group of young women and the power they have to work together rather than in competition with one another was thought-provoking and hopefully action-inspiring. Thank you again for the important messages you brought to the senior girls of St Catherine’s.

Thank you for providing students with an engaging day that instils self-worth, confidence and reinforces vocational pathways over the day. Great work Ladies!!

The girls enjoyed a fantastic day with Fran and have been truly enlightened by the experience. The information provided and the activities chosen were appropriate for the students and also most engaging. An excellent day with a positive outcome for all. Thank you so much.

Kellyville High School is thrilled with the impact this program has had on our Year 9 and 10 girls. Thanks.

Thank you for providing our Year Nine girls with such a wonderful experience! They came away from their time spent with Nikki, with such confidence, self-awareness and a genuine improved understanding and appreciation of themselves and what it means to feel ‘beautiful’. Nikki was a true inspiration to many of them and has definitely left a lasting impression. They are still talking about certain activities and discussions they had! Thank you again, and we look forward to working with you again in the future.

As a parent of a daughter who has experienced Enlighten’s program twice, I was already convinced before you came to our school, but as a Year Advisor who participated this year, I can now see why it works so well. Again Nikki was an amazing presenter and she had my year group totally engrossed in every word she said. The girls came away so much closer as a year group and also within their smaller friendship groups. They were empowered to be safe, physically and emotionally and reassessed how they saw themselves. They spent the next week telling all the next year group down that they just ‘have to do it next year’. I think this speaks volumes for the value the girls placed on the day and the parents who contacted me afterwards said they really valued the conversations it opened up at home. Thank you once again for bringing this to our girls.

Excellent program. The feedback from the girls was remarkable. They were quite emotional and definitely left feeling empowered.

A very big thank you to the Enlighten team, especially Christine and Nikki. Christine it was fantastic to work with you in organising this event. You were always friendly, prompt in all your replies and available to answer any of my questions. Nikki it was a pleasure to have you at our College. The girls absolutely loved you and were engaged for every minute of every session. All activities were done well and connected with each girl. Each activity allowed them to feel safe, comfortable and excited to participate. It was a pleasure.

Fran was a delight and all girls responded favourably to her. She adapted and modified the course to suit our girls which showed true professionalism. Our students were engaged throughout the session and feedback has been very positive. I myself learned quite a few things about the students which was a bonus too. Thanks heaps.
