“Young women need someone to take them by the hand and show them that when they discover their true potential and realise how unique and special they are, they will make a significant contribution to their friends, family and the greater community. I love Enlighten as it holds out this helping hand to young women and encourages them to embrace life and embrace each other.”
Diane is a highly experienced drama and creative arts teacher who has been fortunate enough to teach (and learn from) students at schools in Perth and Melbourne, and at TAFE, where she chose to work with at-risk teenage girls. Diane loves the opportunity teachers have to gently and positively touch young people’s lives, and help young people discover who they really are and who they might like to become.

The Team at Enlighten Education WA did a fantastic job in presenting the issues that young girls face today. The students enjoyed the event so much because when the bell went for lunch instead of racing out of there half of them stayed around chatting, signing journals and generally just having a laugh. It was so awesome to see the impact the day had. Thanks so much Diane!
